Antonio Stradivari (violin) Baron Oppenheim, Professor Exner – 1716 ca.

The violin still bears an original label reading ‘Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis/Faciebat Anno 1716’, of which the last three digits are handwritten and have been tampered with, at least according to Emil Herrmann, who considered the instrument to have been manufactured around 1720.
