Antonio Stradivari (violin) Sammons – 1704

The ‘Sammons’ violin belongs to the so-called ‘Golden Period’ of Stradivari and, as the Hills pointed out in the certificate they prepared for the 1704 instrument, has much in common with the renowned ‘Betts’, which was built in the same year.
